Greetings, Amy, and welcome to planDisney!
Madame Leota and I are so glad you stopped by because we love to call on the goblins and ghoulies from last Halloween to awaken the spirits with their tambourines, especially when it comes to questions about
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at
Magic Kingdom Park.
It just so happens that the happy haunts do have an idea of when the schedule for this swinging wake will be announced! Last year, the dates were announced during the “Halfway to Halloween” celebration on the
Disney Parks Blog in late April, as well as announced on the
planDisney and
Walt Disney World Instagram accounts. If I’m reading all the chilling signs right, ticket sales began a few weeks after the announcement. I recommend that you keep a close eye on the Disney Parks Blog since that is where ticket sales are usually first announced. The party typically begins on select evenings in mid-August and runs through Halloween night.
My planDisney pals have supernatural powers when it comes to
tips and tricks for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so be sure to check out some of our top tips on the Disney Parks Blog and the
planDisney Podcast. And one of my favorite tips is to stake your claim to a spot along the Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade route so you don’t miss the Headless Horseman’s ride through Liberty Square and down Main Street U.S.A. about 15 minutes before the parade begins. (Be aware that the ride may not happen during inclement weather.)
Amy, I hope you are thinking about
what to wear for the party. One of my favorite things about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is seeing all the amazing costumes that fellow Guests are wearing. I love how the grim grinning ghosts come out to socialize!
Before you know it, you will be making final arrangements for your not-so-spooky visit. Until then, please h
urry back and let me know if you have any other questions because, at planDisney, we would like your company!
Boo to you!
Shannon
