Any idea what the dates are for the Fort Wilderness holiday sleigh rides this year? I was hoping to book one for Thanksgiving night if there will be a lot of campgrounds decorated by then. Not sure my kids would enjoy it unless there are pretty lights :)

    Hi Melissa!

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a rustic family vacation while at Walt Disney World!  The cabins offer lodging for up to six guests, and amenities such as  a full kitchen, microwave and bunk beds!  One of the wonderful ways that FW comes alive during the holidays is when guests staying in the campgrounds decorate! It's just beautiful!

A great way to experience the beauty of FW is by taking a Holiday Sleigh Ride.  A horse drawn carriage is decorated to resemble a "sleigh", complete with lights and garlands, ready to whisk you off to a holiday adventure.  Unfortunately, it is not offered during the month of November, solely from December 1st to December 30th.  Sleigh rides depart nightly from FW and pricing is $60 per person for a 30 minute trip around the Campground.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
