Welcome back, Fabiola! As I remember, you're about to set sail! How exciting! My daughter and I just returned home from our seven nights on the
Disney Wonder out of San Diego, and let me tell you, it was simply magical!
If you'd like to book
Disney Cruise Line's ground transfers from the port of San Diego to the airport, you need to book those at least three days prior to sailing. I'm not sure the exact date you leave, but you might be getting close to that point. The cruise ground transfers cost $18 per person each way, and can be booked by calling the agents at Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532.
Normally, I highly suggest that guests take advantage of the cruise transfers in all of Disney's home ports. However, in San Diego, there are plenty of other easy options since the airport is super close to the cruise port, about a five minute drive. There are taxis waiting just outside the cruise terminal, which you'll see as you walk out the doors after going through Customs. You can't miss them. Alternately, do what my daughter and I did: book a Lyft or an Uber. It was so easy! If you don't already have the app for Uber or Lyft on your phone, download it before you set sail. Once we got through Customs, I just pulled up that app and requested a Lyft. Our driver met us in the private vehicle pick up area, just behind the taxi area, about five minutes later. It cost about $12 total, and that was for the minivan size Lyft.
Since your flight isn't until noon, you'll have plenty of time. Guests must be off by 9:30 a.m. So, even if you were one of the last to leave and took half hour to get through customs, you'd be at the airport shortly thereafter. Just plan to leave as soon as you're done with breakfast and you'll be all set.
Have a magical adventure, Fabiola!
