Hi Sarah!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm happy to help you with your question about character dining. One of the first dining experiences we plan for is the breakfast at The Crystal Palace. We loved being a part of the Friendship Day Celebration, alongside Winnie the Pooh and Friends! The breakfast buffet offered a variety of options for all types of food preferences, and we absolutely loved Pooh's Puffed French Toast, which was incredibly delicious, and though located in the kid's menu area, was a huge hit with adults as well!
Sarah, at this time, there is no return date set for Winnie the Pooh and Friends at
The Crystal Palace. They are having a bit too much fun with Christopher Robin in the Hundred Acre Wood! Currently, The Crystal Palace is open for lunch and dinner only. We are hopeful that in the future, they will return to breakfast at
Magic Kingdom, but until that time, let me suggest some other great character breakfast options.
Topolino's Terrace--Flavors of the Riviera at
Disney's Riviera Resort offers a fantastic breakfast experience, complete with appearances from Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy in their art-inspired best! The food is incredible, and the views from atop the resort are amazing! Another option for your family is the classic
Chef Mickey's all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast buffet at
Disney's Contemporary Resort. Mickey and Friends make appearances throughout the dining area to wave at guests and say hello! Both of these will allow your daughter to see the beloved characters and offer a new character dining experience for her to enjoy!
Character Dining Tip: Have your phone or camera ready to snap a photo. Social distancing rules are in place and so the characters will not be able to stop at each table but will pose at a distance for a selfie.
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
