I'd like to try Takumi-Tei in Epcot. I have a 7:30 reservation (following 6:45 Candlelight Processional) and was wondering if that leaves enough time before Epcot Forever at 9:30? I've heard it's a lovely (but leisurely) restaurant? Thanks!

Hi Emily and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Are you counting down the days until your next magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort?! I can’t imagine a better place to celebrate the Holiday season! Thanks for stopping by with your question.

I totally understand your predicament. You have a lot of wonderful things lined up during your visit! I think the best way to go about your dinner reservation, is letting your server know that you are anxious to see the new Epcot Forever nighttime spectacular. That way they know you are on a bit of a schedule and would like the meal to flow a little faster. I’ve heard amazing things about Takumi-Tei, so you and your family are in for a real treat!

Emily, since your reservation is at 7:30 p.m. and the fireworks start at 9:30 p.m., I think you will have more than enough time for a delicious and leisurely meal and the show. You will already be inside the World Showcase, so all you would really have to do is walk outside of the restaurant to find a nice viewing spot.

I hope you and your family enjoy the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays. I look forward to the events and decorations all year long!

You can always come back to see us if you have any more planning questions. Helping you with all the details of your next magical visit is our pleasure!
