I'd like to splurge and stay at a Deluxe resort during my next vacation, but can't decide which one. Can you tell me which one you recommend?

There are so many wonderful resorts at Walt Disney World that it can be difficult to choose! Choosing the right resort depends on what you are looking for and what's important to you.

Is proximity to Magic Kingdom important to you? If so, you will want to consider The Contemporary, Grand Floridian or Polynesian. All three of these resorts are on the monorail line for Magic Kingdom and only one transfer away from the monorail to Epcot. This makes getting to and from the parks a cinch.

Are you looking for nightly entertainment and plenty to do in and around the resort? You may want to consider one of the Deluxe Resorts near the Boardwalk. Boardwalk Inn and Yacht and Beach Club are all on The Boardwalk and you can enjoy nightly entertainment, dancing at Atlantic City Music Hall, grab a drink and dinner at ESPN Club. These resorts are also only a short walk away from Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Do you plan to spend a lot of time at your resort? If so, you may want to consider Disney's Wilderness Lodge. They have campfires, watercraft rentals and more.

Have an animal lover in your party? Animal Kingdom Lodge offers rooms with a view of the savanna to enjoy watching the animals amongst lush, tropical surroundings.

If you really want to go all out, consider one of the Treehouse Villas at Saratoga Springs! These rooms are elevated 10 feet from the ground level and are set amongst the trees to make you feel as if you are living in a tree house! The spacious villas have three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and living room!

It is difficult to recommend just one, but if your budget allows, my favorite option would be the Treehouse Villa at Saratoga Springs. For a less costly, but just as luxurious option, Grand Floridian would be my top choice because they just opened their brand new fitness center and spa - Senses!

    Magically,
    Stacy
