    I'd like to purchase tickets for the Cirque Soleil show at Disney Springs. I have a chase reward card ...can I use my points for this purchase?

    Thank you so much for flying by to ask this great question. I absolutely adore the aerial stunts of all the Cirque du Soleil shows. While I haven't been lucky enough to catch Drawn to Life yet, I have heard nothing but rave reviews. 

    K, when purchasing tickets online or over the phone you will not be able to use your Disney Visa Rewards Card. This card acts like a Disney Gift Card in many ways and generally can only be used at outlets accepting gift cards as a method of payment. Since the Cirque du Soleil box office handles pre-sale tickets, they do not accept this method of payment. 

    If you are looking for a little summersault to get around this issue, I may just have one for you. The box office at Disney Springs is able to take your Disney Rewards Card and Disney Gift Card as a method of payment for your tickets. While this option would allow you to take advantage of your Disney Rewards Visa Card, I do worry about ticket availability on the day of the show. 

    What I recommend you do is to go ahead and purchase your Drawn to Life tickets online using your Disney Visa Credit or Debit Card. You can then take your hard-earned Disney Visa Rewards Card and treat yourself to a fabulous dinner at Disney Springs before the show. May I recommend The Boathouse?

    I know that you are as excited as I am to see the amazing performers of Cirque du Soleil infuse their already spectacular show with an extra dose of Disney magic.
