I’m planning to visit the parks with a Park Hopper ticket on December 25th, and I’d like to purchase the Lightning Lane Premier Pass. Do I need to buy one Premier Pass for each park, or just for the first park I’ll visit, like the Multi Pass?

    Hey there, Regiane!

I'm so excited to welcome you to planDisney, and I really appreciate you stopping by with your question! It sounds like you're planning to visit during one of the most MERRIEST times of the year...the holiday season at Walt Disney World! There's just something extra special about seeing the parks all dressed up in their festive finest, with twinkling lights, joyful music, and plenty of pixie dust in the air.

I think you've got a great plan by purchasing the Lightning Lane Premier Pass. As much as I adore the holiday season at Disney World, it's no secret that everyone else does too. It's one of the busiest times of the year! The Premier Pass is such a smart move because it gives you one-time access to every available Lightning Lane attraction in one park for the day, including those super popular ones, like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, or TRON Lightcycle / Run. You can ride what you want, when you want, without any need to schedule arrival windows. Honestly, it's a total game-changer for busy park days!

Unlike the Multi Pass, which can be used across all four theme parks in a single day (pending availability), the Lightning Lane Premier Pass is only valid for one specific park where it was purchased. You are only able to buy one Premier Pass per day, so you can't purchase multiple for different parks on the same day. However, you can use a Premier Pass and a Multi Pass on the same day – using the Premier Pass for one park and the Multi Pass across all parks (pending availability), which is a great option for maximizing your time.

Just a quick reminder...you can purchase your Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days before your check-in date if you're staying at a Disney Resort. If you're not staying on property, you'll be able to make your purchase 3 days before your park visit. Either way, sales open bright and early at 7:00 AM Eastern Time, and you can take care of everything right in your My Disney Experience app.

Regiane, I hope this information has been helpful and you have the absolute best holiday! If you have any other questions, feel free to visit us again at planDisney! We're always happy to help.

    Magic Awaits,
