I'd like to plan a trip to Disneyland in August. When will dates be available for reservation and ticket purchases for then?

    Hi Sylvia,

Heigh-ho! Heigh-ho! It's off to The Happiest Place on Earth you go! I'm thrilled to tell you that when Disney recently announced that out-of-state Guests will be able to return to the Disneyland Resort, they also shared that the window for planning visits was extended to 120 days. That means that you're able to plan your Disney adventure now! Hooray!

While there is still lots of theme park reservation availability open in August, I'd encourage you to purchase your tickets and make your reservations as soon as you know which dates you'd like to visit. It would not be very magical to wait a bit longer, then discover that there is no more availability at the time you were hoping to visit. Once you've got your tickets and reservations squared away, though, you can rest assured that your spot in the parks is guaranteed and shift gears to counting down the days with excitement and anticipation!

With so many exciting things going on like the debut of the all-new Avengers Campus and updated adventures on Jungle Cruise, I'd encourage you to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and updates. I'd also recommend reading through the helpful Returning to a Land of Magic page to see what it's like visiting during the phased reopening. While things may feel a bit different, I assure you that the magic is alive and well and you're going to have a BLAST!

Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Sylvia! I hope you have a truly magical visit later this summer!
