    I'd like to pay my gratuities prior to our cruise on September 26, 2014, but I'm wondering if I can do that in multiple payments? Can you help me understand that? I know that it will be added to my on board account if I don't pay prior to leaving. Thanks

    Welcome aboard, Rebecca! Disney Cruise Line is happy to work with guests who would like to make payments prior to setting sail.

    Give the agents at Disney Cruise Line at call at 800-951-3532 to discuss the options. You can prepay your gratuities in full, or make a payment every now and then toward your onboard account before you set sail.

    My family likes to purchase Disney Gift Cards at our local grocery store when they offer double and triple fuel rewards on gift card purchases. We stock up on Disney Gift Cards during those times so that we can use them for our upcoming cruises, and so we can get discounts on our fuel purchases when we fill up the car too. It's a win-win! 

    Before we sail each time, I make a few calls to the agents at Disney Cruise Line to add a bit each time to our onboard account. The money in that account can then be used onboard toward any onboard purchases, Port Adventures, Adult Exclusive dining, and gratuities that if not pre-paid will be charged on the last night of your cruise. I like knowing that there is money on our account to cover all of these extras before we set sail.
