    Hi! I'd still like to use my magic band to make souvenir purchases next month at walt disney, but when I pay for my bill at the end of the trip, can I use disney gift cards purchased from home before coming down?

    Making purchases with a MagicBand is so easy! It’s one of the great benefits Disney Resort Hotel guests can enjoy throughout their stay! When it comes to using those magical dollars on your Disney Gift Card, with a quick touch of your band, you don’t have to worry!

    Jennifer, the easiest way to use your Disney Gift Card balances toward anything you would like during your visit is by calling (407) 939-5277 to speak to a Resort Reservation Specialist. Tell them that you would like to add the Disney Gift Cards to your Disney Resort Hotel room balance. That way, any purchases made with your MagicBand (which go directly to your final resort bill) will first utilize the dollar amount of the cards on your file. Any remaining balances will be picked up by the credit card that you have on file for your stay. That’s it!

    Don’t forget, Disney Vacation Club Members and Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can enjoy special discounts on merchandise and Walt Disney World Resort restaurants. You’ll want to keep your IDs with you, so you can enjoy those benefits!
