I’d like to extend our reservation. Can you help?

Welcome to planDisney, Betty! Just like the sea calls Moana, I feel that way about Walt Disney World Resort. It sounds like you and I are the same way! Let's figure out a way to extend that vacation a little longer.

If you booked your Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation through Disney directly (either online or over the phone) and have it linked to your My Disney Experience account, you may be able to make changes online on the "My Plans" page. If your reservation is eligible to be modified, you'll see a link to the right of the confirmation number that says "Change Reservation." Once you select this, you'll see a series of options to adjust different components of your reservation. If you prefer to speak with a Cast Member, you can call (407) 939-5277.

Since your trip is just a few weeks away, resort hotel inventory may be low. If you can't find a few extra days at your selected Walt Disney World Resort hotel, I suggest doing a split stay; this is when a guest divides their stay between two or more resorts. I've done this before, and it actually is easier than it seems. You can book the second leg of your trip online, just like you booked your original stay. If you go this route, Bell Services will transfer your luggage from your first Walt Disney World Resort hotel to the next while you're out enjoying your Disney day!

As Maui tells Moana, I've got your back, Betty! If you need any more advice, feel free to reach out.

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania! I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique. It's incredible how many people you can find who love talking about "The Most Magical Place On Earth!" I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at my monthly Bunco club for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
