Well hello there, Leah!
Welcome to planDisney, where we like warm hugs just like our pal Olaf the Snowman! If you're planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort, you're definitely going to want to stay cool and hydrated. Southern California's Mediterranean climate can be a bit arid and I often wake up with a bit of a parched throat when I'm down there, so let's make sure that you're well prepared!
When you're out and about at the Parks, you don't need to visit Elsa if you want some ice (although she can be found at
Anna & Elsa's Royal Welcome inside the
Animation Academy building in Disney California Adventure). You may approach a Cast Member at any quick service restaurant and ask for a complimentary cup of ice water. If you simply would like a cup of ice, just let them know. I often do that and just add it to my insulated water bottle to always have a source of ice water with me at all times. It's a life-saver on those hot, dry summer days!
If you have the
Disneyland Mobile App downloaded to your phone (and I would definitely recommend you do so), it'll give you a handy map of the Parks, where you'll be able to use the pull-down menu and filter for "
Bottle-Filling Stations" or "
Drinking Fountains." You'll never be far away from a source of water and you'll be able to keep hydrated throughout the day.
Leah, I hope that this was helpful for you and helps you to plan your day at the Happiest Place on Earth! If you need anything else, please feel free to write back to us again anytime. You're always welcome at planDisney! Until next time!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
