Hello I'am Going to Disney and staying at the Movie all star resort Never stayed at a Disney hotel before and i have read not such good reviews on this hotel/motel can u give me some good reviews?

Hi, Victoria!  I'll give you a good review of the All Star Movies Resort!

First of all, this is a Value resort, and when I see some of the negative reviews, I think they are from people who had expectations that were way too high for a value resort.  The room is basic in size, with linens themed to the resort, and with no real bells or whistles.  However, the food court is amazing, with incredible options; the rooms are quite comfortable, and I can tell you I have always gotten a good night's sleep when we've stayed at an All Star resort.  My girls LOVE walking around All Star Movies to see the huge movie icons, with their favorite being Andy's room from the Toy Story movies.

The bus service is just fine, not any different than bus service I've experienced at other Walt Disney World resorts.  The pool area is lovely, and while there isn't a water slide like some of the resorts have, my kids never missed having one and I've never used one at the other resorts, so it certainly doesn't impact my vacation to not have a water slide.

I find the resort pleasant to walk around, I think you may find more school groups here, but again, in my experiences, they haven't had much of an impact on our enjoyment of the resort.  We spend almost the whole day at the theme parks, and the groups seem to spend much of their day out and about as well.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation!  Don't let the negative reviews frighten you!
