I completely understand your predicament. We struggle with playing with our
MagicBand+ and accidentally dropping it! It is a complete user error on my part but it is no fun to go back looking for something instead of looking forward to the next fun activity!
If you want to order a new MagicBand+, there are lots of
fun options available online! You will also see unique MagicBand+ options throughout the theme park shopping locations. The puck can be removed from the MagicBand+ wristband and placed in another holder. I have taken mine out and ordered a keychain holder for it that was easy to clip to my kids' belt loops.
My favorite option though is just using the
Disney MagicMobile Service. This is a fabulous way to ditch the band if it doesn't work for you. Your phone becomes your MagicBand+ and can be used for theme park entry, Lightning Lane entry, PhotoPass, and charging purchases back to your resort hotel room. As my kids have gotten older, we have switched to using this option because it is convenient and they don't have to wear anything extra.
Disney MagicMobile Service is super easy to set up. In the
My Disney Experience app, you will select the 3-line “hamburger” icon (☰) in the bottom-right corner. You will then choose the Disney MagicMobile tile and follow the instructions to choose a fun pass that will be added to your Apple or Google wallet. Once it is set up, you can use your MagicMobile pass everywhere a MagicBand+ would be used. Even when we use our MagicBand+, I still set this up as a backup in case we lose one!
