    Its my husband's birthday and were dining at the Coral Reef. AR would not except requests to sit on the lower level near the tank. I also would like a diver to bring down a special message for his bithday. How do I go about arranging this?

    Michele,

    I am afraid that you will not like my two responses, but better you know and plan ahead than be disappointed later.

    First, you will have to make your request to sit on the lower level when you get to the restaurant. That doesn't mean you will get a seat down there, so don't place too much on that. But to improve your chances I would try to show up well before your Advanced Dining Reservation time.

    Second, I have been told by one of the other "Moms" that they no longer put messages in the tank as they used to. I am not really sure why that practice was stopped, but I am sure that they had a pretty good reason for it.

    On a related note, I have done the DiveQuest scuba experience there, and if you have any scuba divers in your group, it is an experience well worth having!
