My husband and I and our two boys are coming to DW in August/09. We have reservations at OKW, in a one bedroom villa. My question is, do they supply laundry soap for the inroom washer and dryer? I heard they do and find this hard to believe. Thank you!

    It's time to start believing!

I have stayed in many villa rooms at WDW that have the in-room washer dryer. Disney does provide a started supply of laundry detergent in the room. There will be a box of detergent (always Tide) left next to or on top of the washer. Occasionally, I have had two boxes of detergent left for me by an extra-nice mousekeeper. If you need more detergent, you can have mousekeeping bring you more, for a fee, or you may buy more less expensively in the hotel gift shop. You'll also find that there is dishwashing liquid and dishwasher powder left for you in the villa as well.

I must say that I am not a big fan of doing chores while on vacation, but i find those villa washer/dryers to be a huge lifesaver. It prevents the inevitable little spills from becoming big problems and I love being able to dry the swimsuits before we pack them.

    Have a great trip!
