My husband and I and our twin girls (9) are going to WDW in May (Animal Kingdom Lodge). If we want table service meals every evening do we really need to book them all in advance or can we just pick a restaurant we like on the spur of the moment?

    Dawn,

Unfortunately these days, "spur of the moment" and table service dining at WDW don't mix very well.  Sure it is possible that you might get lucky and be able to get into a restaurant as a "walk up", but I personally wouldn't count on it.  If you want some flexibility, I would recommend that you make a reservation in advance, and cancel it if you change your mind (only works, though, for restaurants that don't have penalties for last minute cancellations).

Have a great stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge!
