Hello Dana! It's great to have a mother (or in my case a mother-in-law )who is a Florida resident. We love to have grandma drive over and spend a few days with us when we take a vacation to our "happy place", the Walt Disney World Resort.
In order to enjoy the Florida resident discount on tickets, proof of Florida residency is required for each adult 18 years of age or older. The following identification can be used:
- A valid Florida driver's license
- A valid Florida state-issued ID card (must have a Florida address)
- Valid Florida based military ID
If you do not have one of the above forms of Identification, then for each adult ticket (age 18 and over) you must provide one of the following dated within the last two months, which will show valid proof of Florida residency. Along with this information you also will need to show a corresponding picture ID (passport, driver's license, state ID card.) Keep in mind P.O. Boxes are not accepted as proof of residency. Photocopies and fax copies of bills are also not acceptable.
- Monthly mortgage statement
- Florida vehicle registration or title
- Homeowners insurance policy or bill
- Automobile insurance policy or bill
- Utility bill
- Mail from a financial institution (checking, savings, or investment accounts)
- Mail from Federal, State, County or City government agency
If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and let us know. I hope you have a wonderful vacation.
Have a Disney Day,
~Jen
