me, my husband and our 11 yr old son and 2 yr old daughter are leaving for disney in about 4 weeks. Can my son stay with my daughter for the swap if my husband and i want to go on a ride together?

Hi Elisa!  I see no reason why your son can not wait with your daughter while you and your husband ride.  If you know he can watch her, then I say enjoy the ride!  The rider swap was created for situations just like yours, and it does not specify that it has to be a parent and a child.
You trip is almost here!  How exciting.  I hope you and your entire family have a very magical vacation, and thanks for coming to the Mom's Panel.
