    Me, my husband and my 10yr old son will be visiting from Dec 14-28, 2009. Are the water parks open and is the weather good enough to go to one?

    Hi Erin,

    I'm visiting Walt Disney World then too and my family are definitely planning a visit or two to a water park. Typhoon Lagoon will actually be under going refurbishment but Blizzard Beach will be open 10am to 5pm every day during your stay.

    The weather in December is normally sunny during the day with temperatures in the mid-70's so nice enough for some mid-day water fun. It can vary quite a lot from day to day though so I would definitely recommend you decide on the day whether to visit or not. The water in the pools is heated and the crowds will be very low in December so it is a lovely time of year to visit.
