My husband, 6yr old daughter and I are seriously considering staying at Animal Kingdom Resort April 11-17. If we can request a specific room, which of the areas on the resort has the best accessibility to pool(s), dining, kids activities? Thanks!

    HI Lisa!

The Animal Kingdom Lodge is a wonderful resort! Its like being on a safari - with Walt Disney World in the backyard!!

My best recommendation for requesting rooms at Walt Disney World is to let the reservationist or travel agent know where you'd like to be in general terms. For example, if you request "near the Uzima Pool" the Cast Members who assign rooms will know that the pool location is important to you. But, if you request a specific room number instead, the Cast Member may not understand why you requested that room.

We always try to keep room requests to just one or two items, and list them in order of importance to us. For example, we may request "Near the Uzima Pool, with a balcony".

If you've booked your reservation through Disney, just give them at call at (407) 939-7675 to add your request to your reservation. The room requests are never guaranteed, but Cast Members will try to honor your requests whenever possible.

I hope you have a great trip!
