Hi there! My Husband, 5yr. old daughter (first trip) and myself are traveling to WDW next year and staying at All Star Music with 3 days in the parks. Do we need to make a reservation for the Water Park perk on day of arrival?

Welcome to planDisney, Alicia! It's music to my ears that you're planning your daughter's first trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth next year; I know you are going to have an amazing vacation seeing all the magic through her eyes! Be sure to grab a 1st Visit Celebration Button from your Disney Resort hotel front desk when you arrive so that everyone can share in your family's special celebration!

As a Disney Resort hotel Guest in 2025, your party will get to catch some waves at a Disney Water Park on your check-in day, included with your hotel reservation! This is such a fun new perk that lets you dive right into vacation mode. At this time, there has been no announcement about making a reservation to use this perk, but I'd be sure to stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog as it takes effect in the new year to make sure you know the details of the process. I'd also recommend keeping an eye on your reservation and ticket details in your My Disney Experience account, where you might find your water park admission ticket or details as your vacation approaches.

Alicia, did you know there are some other amazing perks included with your Disney Resort hotel stay? Be sure to take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry to avoid crowds and access a few popular attractions in the mornings with lower wait times! You can also take advantage of an extended booking window for any advance dining reservations you have in mind; as a Disney Resort hotel Guest, you can make all of your dining reservations 60 days in advance for the entire length of your stay (up to 10 days!). This is a great perk if you're looking to snag some of the more popular dining or character dining experiences like breakfast at Topolino's Terrace or dinner at 'Ohana (bonus tip - time it during Happily Ever After for a unique viewing experience of the nighttime fireworks!)

And since this is your daughter's first trip, I'd love to share a few magical ways you can make it extra special for her:
    • If she's a princess lover, consider making a reservation at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for a princess transformation! Both of my girls still talk about how much they loved getting to go inside of Cinderella Castle and experience this!
    • Grab a Mickey balloon on Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom Park or Hollywood Boulevard in Disney's Hollywood Studios for some fun photo opportunities with PhotoPass photographers to help you capture the moment!
    • Personalize some Mickey ears at Fantasy Faire or Disney's Wonderful World of Memories to commemorate her first trip!
I hope this helps you to make a splash during your vacation, Alicia!

    Magic Awaits,
    Alison
