Will Tiana's Bayou shutdown for refurbishment in Jan 2025 given that its just opening? Planning a late Jan/early Feb trip but don't want to go then if that's not open. When is 2025 winter water-ride refurbishment schedule announced?

Hi there, Lori, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're as ready as can be to take a trip down the bayou with Princess Tiana and her band of cajun critters; this New Orleans girl can't hardly wait to drop on in - it feels like we've been wishing on an evening star forever for this attraction to be open and we're almost there!

At this time, there are no scheduled closures or refurbishments for Tiana's Bayou Adventure, but of course, that is always subject to change. My best advice would be to keep an eye on the park hours calendar, where you can interact with the dates and see any attractions that might be closed for refurbishment in each park as they are announced and reported. The Walt Disney World Resort does its best to update as soon as they know that an attraction or resort will be undergoing refurbishment, but there is always the chance of an unplanned closure popping up as well. You can also view each attraction on the Walt Disney World website and on the My Disney Experience mobile app to see details about closures and/or refurbishments in real-time.

Lori, since this ride is a priority for your visit, be sure to check out everything you need to know to be prepared for this bayou adventure! The ride will open using a Virtual Queue system and also be offered as part of the Disney Genie+ Service, which will allow you to purchase a Lightning Lane entry for the attraction. This is subject to change before your visit in January, so as always, stay up-to-date with all things Tiana on the Disney Parks Blog so you'll be ready to gather up your krewe and laissez les bon temps roulez!

If you have any other planning questions, come on back and let me know; there's no such thing as strangers in New Orleans, only friends we haven't met, and you've got a friend in me!

    See you on the bayou,
    Alison
