Hey there, Kristen!
While I am sure that your teenager fully believes she is an adult, as you know, she has quite a ways to go.
Kristen, when your daughter's account was created, it was nested beneath your, or your husband's, My Disney Experience Account. One of two or things may have happened here, but all of them are fixable.
The first, and most common, problem is that
a minor's account can not be shared between adults. So if your husband created your daughter's My Disney Experience account, you will not be able to see her, even if you are included on his Family & Friends List. The same holds true if you created your daughter's account; your husband would not be able to see her.
After the age of 13, your daughter has the option to create an account of her own. If your daughter has an email address, it may have been loaded into her
My Disney Experience account. This would essentially give her an account of her own and you would need to "invite" her to join you on your Family & Friends List.
Kristen, another thing that could have happened is that you could have simply experienced a technical glitch. In this case, I recommend that you check your My Disney Experience account and your
My Disney Experience Mobile App to make sure that both platforms are saying the same thing.
For all three issues, I recommend that you reach out to Walt Disney World Website support. These friendly Cast Members can be reached at
(407) 939-4357 and will be happy to help you resolve this issue.
Enjoy your planning adventure, Kristen.
