Hi. My husband, 5 year old daughter and I will be cruising aboard the Disney Dream from June 6th - June 9th. I wanted to know if I would be able to do a mother/daughter pedicure, or any other special treats she and I could do. Thanks.

Welcome aboard, Adriane! I bet you are really looking forward to setting sail on the Disney Dream in just a couple weeks!

The Dream has an amazing spa for teens called Chill Spa. There they offer a variety of treatments that you can read all about on the Chill Spa's webpage. I spoke with an agent at Disney Cruise Line about the availability of mother/daughter treatments there for you and your five year old. She said that children under 13 with adults would need to get special permission onboard, and usually they can accommodate some sort of treatment, be it a manicure or pedicure. Unfortunately, you cannot book that ahead of time for her age, so be sure to drop by the spa that first day and chat with the Cast Members there to see what your options are.

In the meantime, take a look at the treatment offerings at Chill Spa to get an idea of what they offer the older children. I hope you'll be able to sneak away for some mommy-daughter time while you're sailing, Adriane! Have a wonderful cruise!
