    When my husband and I went in October 2008 Pleasure Island was closed for rennovation. We are going back this year at the same time will it be open by then? I cannot find any info on if it will be open or what the changes have been. Thanks :)

    Hi Lauren,

    Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but Pleasure Island closed in September 2008, the main WDW website says that it will reopen in 2010 with a mix of dining and shopping experiences. You can read about it HERE.

    If you're looking for some entertainment whilst you're at Disney and you're over 21 then can I suggest the Boardwalk. You can find the Atlantic Dance Hall and Jellyrolls there and you can see information about them HERE.
