My husband and I have our 45th wedding anniversary coming up in a couple of years. We are DVC members, and I would love to include my daughter, her husband and 2 grandchildren in the celebration. The children are 4 and 2. Which DVC resort would be best?

Hey there, Peggy! Of all the perks, benefits, Member Magics, and everything else I love about being a Disney Vacation Club member, the thing I love the most is being able to take my whole family together on vacation. It's awesome when we all get to share space, spending time together as a family, with the space to spread out that helps trips together stay magic.

There's so much to consider when looking for the perfect place for this grand celebration. I personally love the convenience of Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. With easy access to the monorail, it's convenient for an afternoon break. I love the theme park view rooms. With a balcony that has a view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks, you don't have to miss them if the kids are tired. Better yet, get the little ones into their pajamas, then you can give them a snack while they watch the fireworks from your room right before bedtime.

My second choice would be Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas. Even if you don't opt for the savanna view room, there are plenty of places to catch a glimpse of a giraffe or zebra, right outside the resort windows. The downside to this resort is that it's pretty sprawling, so I always request a room closer to the lobby at Jambo House or Kidani Village. That helps minimize the walking after a long day in the parks.

For something a bit different, Disney's Old Key West Resort is light, bright, and beautiful. It's my favorite for peaceful and relaxing.

    Happy upcoming anniversary!
