My husband & I are going to WDW with our 3 year old daughter & staying at AKL in a Savanna view room. Is there a particular savanna or floor level that I should request staying in to see more of the animals?

Hi Erika. I was at the Animal Kingdom Lodge a week ago and enjoyed a Savanna view on the Zebra Trail. We were on the fourth floor, and although we had great views, I would recommend requesting the third floor. On the first day, we enjoyed watching many animals outside our room. The number of animals seemed to dwindle as the week went on. Given that the animals roam freely, there is no guarantee that they will choose to roam outside your window. That being said, we were advised that the far end of the floors tend to have more animals, but be forewarned - it can be a long walk back to the lobby, restaurants and buses.

Wishing you a magical vacation Erika!
