My husband and I are going to WDW in July 2008 with our 6 year old son and our 18 month daughter (we are all first timers). Is there anything that my daughter will be able to ride? Also, is there any guides to the rides to help with the itinerary?

    Hi Kimberly,

I think you will find a lot of rides for your princess to ride on.  The best thing Walt Disney did was make his theme parks a place where families can spend time together.

In the front of every attraction, there is an informational sign which tells you if there are any height requirements or warnings about a ride.  This will be a good guide for your family.

You can also look up the attractions online at www.disney.com and read about them.  I have attached the link to Magic Kingdom.  http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/parks/parkListing?id=MKAttractionListingPage  The other parks have similar pages.

Another resource is the Unofficial Guide to Disney World which is available in most bookstores and libraries.  It provides you with other people's perspective on the rides which is a help.

However, you know your children the best so ask your six year old what he would like to see in the parks and go from there.

    Have a magical vacation!
