My husband wants to build a lightsaber at Savi’s. Will he be allowed to bring the two kids along to watch and give input? Thank you

    Bright suns, Shawnna!

I see that you and your family will be making the long journey soon to Batuu in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. While wandering through Black Spire Outpost, be on high alert for any members of the First Order. They've been relatively active lately and on the hunt for loyalists to the Resistance.

If your husband is a Jedi on the hunt for a worthy lightsaber, THE place to go has to be Savi's Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers. But to protect the secrecy of the workshop from the evil First Order, capacity is limited to the Jedi who is building the lightsaber and just one guest.

While one of your young padawans is assisting your husband at Savi's Workshop, you may want to consider doing something special elsewhere with your other padawan. While you wait, the two of you can use your Stars Wars Datapads via the Play Disney Mobile App to interact and engage with the things and droids you find throughout Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

Safe travels, and may the force be with you!

    Til the spire,
