My husband and I wanted to treat each of our daughters to a special dinner out during our February 2010 vacation. Can you recommend a very special dinner experience for a 6-year old (plus her Mom!) who loves princesses and going to "fancy" restau

Hi, Catherine!  You have a few princess options you might enjoy with your daughter.  You might really enjoy 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian.  This all you care to eat buffet meal has a very elegant feel at this lovely Grand Floridian restaurant.  For dinner, you may run into Cinderella herself, who usually appears along with her handsome Prince, and her not so nice stepmother and stepsisters.

Restaurant Akershus at EPCOT in the Norway pavilion is another great way to meet and interact with the princesses.  The restaurant is more casual, as most people are going in right from the theme park, but I think the restaurant itself has kind of a castle feel to it, and is quite elegant.  You can see a nice photo of the restaurant HERE .  The princesses that appear here rotate fairly often, but you might see Belle, Cinderella, Ariel, or even Pocahontas.

Cinderella's Royal Table at the Magic Kingdom is a much sought after reservation at Walt Disney World.  While the dinner is not a true character meal, you might still encounter the Fairy Godmother on your way into the restaurant.  Anyone dining here certainly feels like a member of the Royal Family.  You'll find the guests here wearing usually theme park attire or princess garb, and the restaurant itself is quite regal in appearance.  If you can change your special dinner experience to a lunch or breakfast one, you will run into any number of the Disney princesses at those meals.

Have a wonderful time with your very special princesses!
