My husband will be in a walking boot the week we are visiting. Do you have any helpful tips or ideas to minimize the walking and wait times? He should be able to move around ok when we are there, but I think 6 days is going to wear on him.

    Hi Virginia!

I visited Walt Disney World while in a boot also and I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to navigate Disney and avoid standing for long periods.

Many of the attractions don't require standing in line. At Dumbo, you can receive a pager and sit and wait until its your turn. You may sit inside during Mickeys Philharmagic and Disney's Carousel of Progress. You may want to consider renting an ECV if you feel that the walking gets to be too much.

Try to take breaks throughout the day and sit down for meals to get ample rest.
