There is no mention of walkie-talkies or other forms of radio communication in the
Disneyland Resort Rules, so I would tentatively say that you would be allowed. I will, however, point out that cast members are the final say, and while there is no language in the official Property Rules about the use of talkie-talkies, cast members may have other guidance. It’s important to comply with Disney security and cast members at all times.
Hopefully you’re able to use the walkie-talkies without issue! If you’re not able, the cell reception isn’t too bad, with a few exceptions. If you’re in line for
Indiana Jones Adventure, forget about it! One area where all your technology should be in working order is
Galaxy’s Edge. Did you know that the
Galaxy’s Edge Timeline Expansion takes place in just a few days?! You’ll be able to see all your favorite Star Wars characters from episodes IV, V, and VI visiting the land. Just don’t call Han scruffy-looking.
