Hey there, Carol. Welcome to
planDisney. I’m sorry to hear you have to push your plans back. Bummer! Let’s figure out how to make this change to your tickets happen.
You can make adjustments to your dates right on your
My Disney Experience App. From the home page, press the (☰) and scroll down to “My Plans.” The dates for your current reservation should appear along the top. Click on the first day you planned to enjoy the parks, then click the reservation that shows up and click “Get Details.” Your reservations will appear again, but now there should be a blue link that says “Modify Reservation.” From there, you should be able to choose later dates that suit you. Prepare yourself, you may be asked to pay the difference if the dates you select are more expensive. You can accomplish all this on the Walt Disney World website as well. Just log in and then go to “My Plans and Tickets” under the “My Disney Experience” heading. Scroll down to the date in question, click “Manage Reservation,” and it should be similar to what is described above for the app.
October is a great time of year to visit the
Walt Disney World Resort! While the dates haven’t been announced, the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival may be taking place while you’re there. As if EPCOT didn’t already have a wealth of delicious bites, there will be various festival marketplaces set up to share delicious dishes and desserts! Check in with the
Disney Parks Blogs as you get closer to your trip to preview the Foodie Guide and scope out what you want to try. This will be a delicious visit!
Carol, I’m sorry you’ll have to wait a few extra months to feel the magic of
Walt Disney World, but it will be well worth the wait, I’m sure. I hope you have a wonderful trip and make many magical memories. If you have any other questions or need extra planning tips, come on back to
planDisney. We’re here for you!
I hope you have a magical day!
