Hello! My Husband and I are visiting WDW 12/2 to 12/9 and I was wondering, other than the parks themselves, what else will be Holiday themed that we shouldn't miss?

    Hi,

I was lucky enough to visit WDW in early December last year and I was amazed by the Christmas decorations in the resorts so I would definitely recommend you take some time to tour the hotels during your trip.

A good place to start is at the entrance to the Magic Kingdom, from here you can ride the resort monorail and explore the Contemporary, Polynesian and Grand Floridian Resorts. I thought they were all beautiful but I especially liked the decorations and the enormous Gingerbread house, complete with smoking chimney, at the Grand Floridian.

Other great decorations can be found in the Boardwalk resorts, you can access these via the boat launch from Disney's Hollywood Studios. The whole area is lovely to stroll around and I loved the carousel at the Beach Club Resort.

Another resort worthy of a visit is the Animal Kingdom Lodge, the decorations here are quite unusual and you can visit this resort by transferring to a bus from either Downtown Disney or Animal Kingdom.

    Have a very festive trip,

    Jo
