My husband and I will be visiting WDW for the first time in March with our 2 daughters (ages 11 & 13). We will have 2 full days. One day will be spent at Magic Kingdom. Should the 2nd day be spent at Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios?

    Hi there Laura!

How exciting to be planning your first Walt Disney World vacation!  As a mom of four children ranging in age from 10 to 17, I would honestly have to say that both parks would be great choices for your daughters. That being said, if your girls love animals and live musicals, I would suggest Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, which is home to Festival of the Lion King, Finding Nemo - The Musical, Kilimanjaro Safaris, Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, Kali River Rapids, and DINOSAUR. On the other hand, if they enjoy thrill attractions, Star Wars, and movies, I would recommend Disney's Hollywood Studios. Follow the links I have provided to view the attractions and entertainment options offered at both Disney's Animal Kingdom Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Although I don't think you can go wrong by choosing either park, Fantasmic! is an amazing nighttime show at Disney's Hollywood Studios and is not to be missed in my opinion. For that reason, I would have to recommend Disney's Hollywood Studios for your first visit.

I hope this information is helpful in making the best decision for your family. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a magical trip, Laura!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
