My husband is a veteran and has the appropriate veteran logo on his drivers license is that acceptable as proof of vet when we use our Disneyland tickets from the base?

Hey there, hi there, Shelly! Welcome to planDisney. Before we get to your question, please let me take a moment to thank your husband and your family for their service!

We are a military family too, and are always so thankful for the special offers available to us. Proof of identification would depend on which military ticket you are trying to purchase. If you are inquiring about the Disney Military Promotional Ticket offer, these tickets are offered to active duty and retired military members. A military ID is required when activating the tickets at the turnstile on the first day of use. In this case, a driver's license is not sufficient for this ticket offer. There are also standard tickets available at military base ticket offices. These tickets do not require an ID or have a restriction on who is eligible to use these tickets, like the other offer. Whatever ticket offer you end up getting from the military base ticket office, just make sure that you link your tickets to your Disney account as soon as possible to be able to make theme park reservations, as these are also required for entry along with your tickets.

The holiday celebration will still be going on when you arrive! There are some Guest-favorite attraction overlays, beautiful decor, and lots of fantastic entertainment. My favorite place to visit during the holidays is Cars Land. The decor just makes this land even more magical. I recommend checking out the Daily Events Schedule before you arrive to make sure you don't miss anything!

Shelly, thanks so much for stopping by! We are here if you have any other planning questions!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
