My husband is a veteran and has access to the ITT office on base. If he purchased the Florida Resident Select ticket for myself and our kids from the ITT office, can we go with out him? I do not have a military ID.

Hi Michelle! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for your question!

From one military wife to another, thank you for your husband's service! I am excited to hear you want to plan a visit to Walt Disney World Resort with your kiddos. As a Veteran, your husband can purchase discounted Magic Your Way tickets from the ITT office, which can be used by you and the kids without him present. If your husband purchases the Florida Resident Select ticket, you need to provide proof of Florida residence, such as a Florida-issued ID, driver's license, or mortgage statement.

For the military tickets, you need to make theme park reservations before your visit, which you can do in your My Disney Experience mobile app. Once you link your tickets to yourself and  Mouseketeers, you can make those reservations. You will also have the option of adding Park Hopper or Park Hopper Plus. For a future visit, consider staying at Shades of Green Resort. This is an AFRC resort on Walt Disney World Resort property, and Veterans with honorable discharge status qualify to stay here in January and September. Another big perk to staying at this resort is that guests qualify for Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours!

Michelle, thank you again for visiting planDisney. Please visit planDisney in the future if you need additional pixie dust planning for your vacation. You've got a friend in me!

    Happy Planning!
