My husband and I are vacationing at Disney World in April. We will be staying at the Wilderness Lodge. I have heard to you can take a boat to the Magic Kingdom and to the Comtemporary Resort. How often do the boats run? Is it faster than taking the bus?

I've stayed at the Wilderness Lodge many times. I know from experience that most of the time, the boat is the ONLY way to get from the WL to the Contemporary and the Magic Kingdom. They only run buses if there is a weather problem that would make using the boats unsafe. The boat ride itself is very pleasant and quick, maybe ten minutes.

    Hope you enjoy the ride!
