Ahoy Carla!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am glad you cruised by with a great question about your adventure later this summer. Sailing
Alaska with Captain Mickey will be an incredible experience for you and your husband. I am so excited for you!
With Disney Cruise Line, the safety and
accessibility of all guests is always a priority. The
Disney Wonder is a smaller ship and easier to navigate, but if your husband prefers a mobility scooter to best enjoy his vacation, by all means do it! It is the guest's responsibility to arrange the scooter to be delivered and picked up from the ship and while you are onboard it must be stored in your stateroom.
When planning your
Port Adventures into the great Alaskan frontier, you can look for
wheelchair accessible adventures that can accommodate mobility devices. Our favorite Port Adventure in Alaska was the
Bering Sea Crab Fishermen's Tour in Ketchican which is an accessible tour. You can also
contact Disney Cruise Line to discuss your Port Adventure options that will be a great fit for your husband to experience all that Alaska has to offer.
Sail back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any additional questions you have as you plan your adventure.
"Sea" ya real soon! Angie
