Ahoy, Jennifer!
How exciting that you will be onboard the Wonder just in time to see all of the amazing holiday decorations! It is truly a spectacular sight to behold. My favorite thing onboard is the Gingerbread House.
On every 4-Night Disney Cruise, there is an optional dress-up night. This can be anything from tuxedos and ball gowns to khakis with polo shirts and sundresses. What you wear this night is entirely up to you and your family. Keep in mind that there are lots of photographers waiting to take your family's photo, so maybe dressing up for a nice photo is a good option, especially with all of the holiday decorations. This optional dress-up night is usually held on a day at sea.
You should also expect a
Pirate Night on your 4-Night cruise. This means that your should definitely pack your family's pirate-y best (with eye patches) in your suitcases. There will be a Pirates IN the Caribbean Deck Party, which is a DO NOT MISS in my book!
Since you are also traveling over Christmas Day, you can expect something special to happen. This might include meeting with the jolly old elf himself, Santa Claus, holiday storytelling, or a special meet and greet with holiday-dressed characters. The dates for the
Very MerryTime Cruises has not yet been announced for 2015, but I would think that yours will be included.
It seems like your 4-Night cruise just might be filled with three nights of parties! How lucky for you! I hope this helps a little with your cruise planning. Please visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel again with more questions as your holiday cruise gets closer.
Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
