Husband and two growing boys are big breakfast eaters. Any suggestions for a nice, filling breakfast for six mornings? Have done Chef Mickey's before and enjoyed it, also Tusker House. Any hearty, preferably non-character breakfasts inside each park? Thxs

Hi, Cindy!  Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and I can tell you where you'll find some of the heartiest of morning meals.

At Disney's Animal Kingdom, check out the Rainforest Cafe just as you are entering the theme park.  You'll find Tonga Toast, a fruit packed, cinnamon sugar dusted french toast; steak and eggs; fruit topped waffles; omelettes; and even breakfast sliders.

How does a croissant doughnut topped with bananas, caramel sauce, and chocolate ganache sound for breakfast?  It is one of several options available on the prix fixe menu at Be Our Guest in the Magic Kingdom.  Also available is a huge open faced bacon and egg sandwich, served on a baguette, or a vegetable quiche, or even a platter of assorted meats and cheeses.  All breakfasts come with a pastry basket to round out the meal.

EPCOT has the Sunshine Seasons food court inside the Land pavilion.  Try the breakfast panini with roast pork, bacon, eggs, cheese, and breakfast potatoes.  There is also a more traditional breakfast platter, and a huge variety of pastries and muffins.  You'll also find my husband's favorite breakfast there - Bircher's Mueslix, which is very filling for as light as it seems.

Except for the character meal at Hollywood and Vine, you won't find a sit down breakfast at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  If you don't want to grab something quick, you might swing by the Yacht Club for the Captain's Grille breakfast.  There is a buffet meal there or you can order from the regular menu.  Lobster omelette, citrus french toast, or dark chocolate waffles with berry compote, mascarpone cheese, and a side of bacon.  YUMMY!

    Have some magical morning meals!
