My husband, I and our two daughters (8,7) will be going on the Disney Dream in March. This is our first cruise ever! Any suggestions on what to pack? We are doing a 4night 3 day Bahamas trip. Thanks

    Ahoy Dianna!
I know you are counting the days until you are sailing away to the Bahamas with your two princesses and  Prince Charming by your side!  Half the fun of a cruise vacation is planning and preparing for a magical voyage on the high seas so I'm glad you are already brainstorming what to pack.  With the end of summer near, I'd definitely be on the lookout for sales so you can save a little on your family's cruise attire!
For your cruise, you can expect one dress-up night, one pirate-themed night, and two cruise casual nights.  For the dress-up night, you can be as fancy as you'd like to be as you will see Guests in all sorts of "formal attire."  Many of the young princesses onboard like to bring along their royal gowns and glittering accessories for this special evening so you may want to consider this option for your girls. I usually wear a cocktail dress while my husband wears either his suit or a pair of nice slacks with a button-down shirt.  On pirate night, all the characters will be in their pirate gear so you can bring along costumes from home or check the gift shops onboard for their selection.  For your cruise casual attire, sundresses, skirts, capri pants with coordinating tops are all fine for you and your girls.  Your husband can wear khakis and a golf shirt or button down.
During the day, you will want to have bathing suits handy and comfortable clothes and shoes to wear around the ship and ashore. Also, I always bring lots of sunscreen, sunglasses, a bag for the pool and beach, plenty of dollar bills to tip room service, a small kit with band-aids and medicines, a small pop-up hamper, and autograph books (and a chunky pen).
I hope that my answer is helpful, Dianna!  Please keep me posted as you continue to plan!
    Have a magical day!
