My husband and I will be travelling to Disney in april with my daughter and her family. My husband requires the assistance of a scooter/wheelchair can you tell me what documentation is required

    Hi CarolAnn,

There is no documentation required to rent a scooter or wheelchair at Walt Disney World. They are rented solely on a first-come, first-served basis.

I should also tell you that the Disney scooters and wheelchairs can not leave the theme parks. If you think your husband will need mobility assistance in other locations (at your hotel or Downtown Disney, for example), I would encourage you to rent from one of the many reputable agencies in the area. These agencies will pick up and deliver your ECV or wheelchair directly to your hotel. Super easy?

Some frequently used rental agencies are walkermobility.com and buenavistascooters.com, but there are many others as well.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
