My husband & I are traveling with two boys ages 2 & 6. We would like pros & cons of Port Orleans Riverside & Caribbean Resorts. I like the pirate room upgrades and zero entry pool at Caribbean but have heard wonderful suggestions to stay at

    Hi Jennifer!

Choosing which Disney Resort to stay at can be one of the hardest decisions for a Walt Disney World trip! With so many great - and unique - options, it's difficult to pick just one! The good news is, you really can't go wrong!

Both of these resorts are beautiful, and so well themed! With your young pirates, the Caribbean Beach may be perfect for you! The upgrade to the Pirate themed rooms may just create memories that will last a lifetime! And, you're absolutely right about the pool! The entire fort-themed area is incredible.

Port Orleans Riverside is a wonderful resort too. Some of the great things going for it are its food court, its proximity to Port Orleans French Quarter (since they are sister resorts you're welcome to check out the pool there too!) and the boat transportation to Downtown Disney.

BUT- You really can't go wrong! Pick the resort that appeals to you the most and go for it!
