Hello, Michelle! Congratulations! As Winnie the Pooh said, "...a new baby is probably, undoubtedly the grandest gift that could ever be."
Your best bet for storing your pump is in one of the lockers available to rent at each theme park. While the first aid station may be able to help you out, they cannot guarantee they'll have space or be available to help you retrieve the pump when you need it.
For a stress free trip be flexible. If you find you have an early riser, and you are a
Walt Disney World resort guest, take advantage of
morning extra magic hours. A night owl baby might be better at the evening extra magic hours.
Temperatures can still be quite hot in October. Plan air conditioning breaks for your little one, but carry a light swaddle blanket for the cooler indoor temperatures. You may also want to feed the baby a little more frequently.
Pack more than you think you'll need. A few spare diapers or an extra outfit (and a clean shirt for mom) is a good plan.
Check out the
Baby Care Centers in each theme park. They have a peaceful place for breastfeeding or pumping (although you can breastfeed anywhere), changing tables, and an array of baby necessities available to purchase. You'll find diapers, wipes, rash ointment, and even a selection of formula.
Take care of you, too! You're going to be recovering yourself, so make sure you rest when you need it, drink plenty of fluids, and throw a snack or two into the diaper bag for yourself.
Have fun!
Anna
