My husband and I would be traveling to Disney on Jan 24 and we will hit all parks in one week. My ID will expire one week before our trip, will this affect my visit or entrance to the parks? Due covid everything is delay and I am still waiting for the new

Hi Alec! We're happy to have you here with us at planDisney!

Your visit to Walt Disney World Resort is coming up SO quickly! I bet you can't wait to relax and enjoy the sunshine, although from your question it sounds like you will be very busy having fun bouncing from park to park.

The good news is that once your park tickets are linked to your MagicBand or My Disney Experience account you should not have to show an ID upon entry to the parks. However, your hotel may require a valid photo identification card at check-in.  This ID could come in a different form that is not yet expired, such as a valid passport or other government-issued photo ID.  I would also plan on carrying your current ID for reference purposes even though it is expired.

Since you're planning on visiting all four theme parks, I highly suggest looking into the Park Hopper Option for your trip if you haven't already.  This option would allow you and your husband to experience more than one park in a day.  You can enjoy the thrills of Disney's Hollywood Studios in the morning and unwind with the beauty of Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom Park in the evening.

I hope this information helps and you join us here at planDisney again soon!

As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
