Hi Heather!
It really is incredible how the
Walt Disney World Resort can even make waiting in line magical, so I completely understand you wanting to have your family there to experience it all with you! Plus, time flies when you're having fun--especially with loved ones by your side!
On my first few trips to the Walt Disney World Resort with my husband, I "chickened out" in line for
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. I have since experienced (and loved) both attractions, but it was nice to have the option to wait with him, but not have to ride.
Luckily, the Cast Members at the Walt Disney World Resort understand that everyone has a different thrill tolerance level. For both of these attractions, I told the Cast Members at the loading areas that I did not want to ride, and they directed me to areas where I would be able to wait for my husband while he experienced the thrills. In both cases, they showed me a way to get to the ride exits, so I could meet him right after he rode the attractions. Ironically, to get to the exit area for The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, I had to ride an elevator. Thankfully, this elevator ride was much less exciting than the others in that attraction!
If you have any questions or concerns, you can speak with the Cast Members at the entrance of the attraction before entering the queue or before boarding the ride vehicles. They will be happy to assist you!
Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
