My husband and I are thinking of a quick couple of days at Disney most likely June 8/9. We were there in Apr '09 with our 7 yr old and the crowds were oppressive. I know school lets out in June, but what about that early in the month? Like Spring Break??

Hi, Mick!  I generally find the earlier in June you can go, the better off you are.  While schools in the Northeast generally go through the month of June - at least into the second or third week, depending on snow days that have to be made up - many of the southern schools are getting out at the end of May and early June.  To avoid summer crowds, I'd say your best bet is the first week in June.

Another really good time to go if you can only go during school breaks is the very end of August.  It's very hot then, but it seems the week before Labor Day weekend, the crowds are thinner and the parks are easier to negotiate.

Mid to late May - excluding Memorial Day weekend - is another nice time to go.  You're past spring break but not into summer vacation season!

I hope your vacation is fabulous, whenever you go!
